The new per-material antialiasing settings are causing problems with some scenes. These presets have fixed the issues on the scenes I have tested with.

[Edit: There is another possible issue that I'm looking into. Could you possibly upload a screenshot of the contents of your presets folder?]

I have attached the latest presets optimised for use with the per-material AA settings in the newer builds.

Please try them and see how you get on.

I'm a Mac user and trying to download the 1.0.3 Exterior and 1.0 Exterior night presets. I right clicked on the link like it said and tried saving it to my desktop but all I'm getting is either a PowerPoint or a .txt file with a bunch of jumbled text. Any suggestions?

Since the preset files have .pps extension, OS might confuse it with powerpoint file. You should copy it to the same folder where the other presets are and it should work. I have Windows so I can't tell you which folder is default for presets on Mac. Try searching your drive for pps files.

I swear that I saw a 1.0.8 QMC preset somewhere in the forum, but I can't remeber which thread I saw it in. Does anybody know where I can find it?

The 1.0.8 presets are not QMC. They are alternatives to them. I don't recall making a QMC version, although it's quite possible because tone mapping settings are different.

Can someone put all the 1.0.8 .pps files in here? We have a presets thread with no presets. I have just spent 30 mins (at least) trying to find The interior brighter/Graham one or similar.

It makes sense to keep them here for user who are not on the forum all day every day ;-)

Thanks.

I would rather not do this. They have been optimised for V2+ and have had some late modifications. The latest ones are the ones to use. If you have V2+ you will have the latest ones we have released.

Bigstick, I am using V2+, and am having trouble finding optimised presets. What are the latest interior ones then? The latest I have are 1.0.6.

EDIT: Everyone is always using these new optimised V2+ presets but never posts them! Maybe a V2+ preset thread??

Hmm, really? They aren't in the presets list? I thought they were installed with V2+...

Can anybody recommend an exterior preset, that is warmer than the cold blue hues in the presets that ship with SU Podium?

There aren't any. If you want to modify the tonality of your image, you need to do it in post-processing. The reason many images have a blue hue is because of the global illumination from the sky. When the sky is blue, the light is kind of bluish.

If you adjust the time to early morning or later in the evening (if using Physical Sky 1 bear in mind that dawn and dusk have some weird colour effects - use Physical Sky 2 if you see these) you can see that the sky colour is warmer and it makes the overall render warmer.

Alternatively, you could modify the presets to change the RGB balance.
