Hi Folks

Had to do some quick Bathroom renderings for a client as first impressions.
What do you think ? I also tried to keep a version in black and white.

kind regards

Your work, probably more than anyone else's for me at least shows what Podium was originally designed for.

You can take a simple space, detail it well and use Podium as both a design and visualisation tool which gives you really lovely results without really having to try too hard. It's kind of an extension to the design process. Of course it can be so much more, but this is how it started.

It's not that I don't love the amazing stuff posted by people (there are too many to name) but yours has a kind of simplistic purity which is just about the quality of the space.

You add almost no entourage, but model, texture and light everything beautifully.

It's an exercise in visualisation minimalism that is kind of Ando-esque.

Epic! [thumb]

Dang this is gorgeous.  That material combination is so nice [love].

Have to agree, it's a pleasure when you post.  I still remember your student worklounge and those plant atrium studies, always such beautiful light!

Thank you so much for your comments ! Its exactly like you said bickstick, meanwhile sketch up with podium is my most important instrument to design rooms and furniture. Its so well designed and you can get awesome results with reasonable effort....after 3 years of use i still love the software and excited about every rendering podium finished, its always like christmas :-)

Cheers!

I am so pleased to read this as it is how I understand the essence of Podium to be.
Excellent visualisation.

Thank you so much for your comments i really appreciate this !

@urbanjourney: my setup i don't remember exactly but it was for sure the exterior_default preset with a resolution of 3000/1500 pixel. the rest was pretty standard. My next step is to change contrast and brightness in Photoshop and do some lower saturation because of the higher contrast. Then i check some ares how are a little to over or underexposed and change them...

@arqcova: no i dont used LEM's outside, the natural light with the big window on the left was enough.

best wishes
Michael
