I have purchased the premium content today , but most of the materials and components are not getting downloaded onto the SketchUp model.

Standalone browser is not scrolling, so can't see all thumbnail library images either...

I have to go thru a longer workaround of :

  1. Noting the material name in SketchUp integrated browser..
  2. then log into standalone browser
  3. and then type name in search bar.
  4. ..then download the SketchUp file
  5. After that import into main file
  6. Copy material
  7. Apply
  8. Delete the cube...

Any solution is welcome pls....

Hmm - do any of the paid ones download correctly, or is it only the free ones?

You might have an issue with your licence.

Alternatively - if you are working behind a company firewall and proxy sever, that might be blocking the Browser from downloading inside SketchUp.

This is not proper functionality - you have a problem, but I don't think it's a Podium problem, I think it's a configuration problem your end.

If you can't download any paid items, it might be that your Browser licence isn't being stored in Podium.

You might need to contact Support with that one I'm afraid...

I bought license for Podium browser First ( as i was too curious to try out the components)...while Podium is still in trial mode . Does that messes up with license ?

I don't have any aniti virus or firewall other than windows generic one ... Though I intended to put another antivirus later.

Shall contact the support with the same .
Thanks for your inputs in this regard.

Wow yeah there is something weird happening with scrolling in the stand-alone... in Firefox at least.  If you are a Firefox user, I found two workarounds -

1. Switch from fullscreen to windowed, after that I was able to scroll.
2. Use Chrome or Edge -- It appears to work on both.

We should be able to get the plugin working for you though, if necessary we can do remote support.  When you email support please include your OS, SketchUp version, and Podium version.

Thanks,
Justin

Dang I don't know then.... so if you open this link in Edge it won't allow any scrolling? http://www.pdm-plants-textures.com/Podium_Browser/?sa=1
A couple simple things you can try

1. Make sure Edge and Internet Explorer allow cookies and have JavaScript turned on.
2. Turn the security settings to low on both IE and Edge
3. Clear your Edge and Internet Explorer browser cache

Anyway we'll look for your email [smile]

Hello everyone,

I had the same issue here, some component in PB caused SketchUp exit suddenly, and if i tried to download with standalone browser it cannot be imported or open, SketchUp said it is invalid file.
Is there any solution for this already?

Thank you.

Rizky

Then this is a PB bug in SU Podium V2.5?
I wish this bug will be fixed because it is so annoying and decrease productivity. Upgrade to V2.6 beta is not solution for existing customer since it is paid upgrade.

One of component that had problem is "Kohler Highline toilet"
If I try to download it from inside SketchUp (via Podium Browser), then SketchUp suddenly exit.
If I try to download it from Chrome Browser http://www.pdm-plants-textures.com/Podium_Browser/?sa=1 it can be downloaded but cannot be open by SketchUp, it is said "invalid component file".
I think there are several component that behave like that.

Please let me know if somebody had workaround about this. Maybe mistake comes from my computer, not PB.
Thank you

Rizky
