2 more renders from the latest camping project I did.
defrender002.jpg  I did some extra lighting inside and on the porch because they came out very dark. Always a problem with in- and outside situations in one scene, but that also true with photography...

defrender002-int.jpg  and one from the inside of the porch. used a 3_interior_QMC2_HDR setting and a sun/sky at 25/25.
sky is PP.

comments-advise are always welcome.

I don't have any advise.  I do have some questions.  Why QMC?  I could understand using _high because the grass.  Do you find QMC to be higher quality than _high preset?
Really like the detail of the interior especially the ceiling bamboo looking material.

Hi Dave,
I did a earlier render with 3_Interior_default_1.0.5.pps.

I think that QMC is not better then other settings, I guess there's no particular reason, except that in this case I liked the bit grainy effect..
(Mostly I use the 3_Interior_high_2_HDR.pps setting for interiors.)

This model would greatly benefit, I think, from the upcoming HDR background.  HDR backgrounds are rendering in the rendering engine.  If you could upload your model  using your own share service and send a link to support@cadalog-inc.com or use our upload page  - http://www.suplugins.com/podium/support.php, either Justin or I could show you what it might look like with HDR background.

Wow, that would be great! I've seen the example from the coming upgrade with HDR background.
I'm very curious what you guys can do with it. I will upload the model ASAP.  [smile]

Hi Dave, Justin,
Any change of seeing a HDR background render of the model or are you guys too busy with the new release? [comp]
Are you going to release a Beta first?

We are planning to release a beta. It's not ready for the public yet. It does work, but there are some annoying issues we want to resolve first.

Justin gave it a shot but did not think the HDRI background improved the image very much.  Now that we have a way to rotate the HDRI background, we can try again.  Yes.  We need a few people to start beta testing.  Should be ready this week for beta.

Hey Andrew,
although I've build the model, the designer right belongs to another. So I would like to but I can't give you the model to test in another project.

Thanks Justin, Dave, for giving it a shot. [wink]
and if you need some more Beta testers, I'm available.

Yes sir, understood. My comment was directed more at being interested in beta testing a background.
