Unfortunately not (yet). But there are some hints on this somewhere here in the forum ... try to search for it, if you want to know some workarounds.

I've been tending to use part cutout part png with alpha! reason the cutout just adds too much geometry on trees or they look bad so I still have some cutout though rough over a PNG to get better detail and near to correct shadows!

I have one question here,
Clip maps vs Cutouts.Would it be faster for rendering to use cutouts or clip maps and also I have a nice big file with cutout trees, and my computer is very slow (sketchup is slow) i know if I use clip maps than the size of the file would increase, but would have less lines.Would that make faster sketchup?
Thx

I think clip maps will render faster. because you dont need extra edge, line etc... which occupy a lot of memory. sketchup ussually slows down with the number of polygons, lines displayed in your screen. when you are working with slow computer, it is always advisable to hide things. but of course, we always want to see everything right? as 4 yur question, i have no doubt that clipmaps will render much much faster, evn if you have what you called low poly cut-outs.
