Another really nice image you have posted! I have to ask though - is it a brothel?

You have a lot of men walking towards a building with lots of mainly women in illuminated windows.

It's a really nice render, but at the same time kind of creepy!

Hehe, no its dwellings.

Raw render here. I with regards to the discussion in the river street thread; I think this is one of the most sucesfull raw renders i`ve made. Lighting and the general mood is set by the render, and its only adjustments like adding puddles with reflections and vegetation and people in photoshop. Do you think this is overdone as well big stick?

The fog and grass are great! Some of the people work very well, but I'm personally not sure about the puddles, and you would most likely not have lights in all the dwellings, and they certainly wouldn't all be the same colour and intensity.

This would a fabulous image if you changed just a few things. It's good work as it is, many people would be really happy to get results like this, and my comments are basically that you have compromised it unnecessarily.

I am still curious why most photoshop user prefer to add people in photoshop rather than using png people in SketchUp that caused some lighting inconsistency? For example this image, I see sun position is in front of scene but people here seems still getting sun light from behind.
This is not about you, because I often see this inconsistency in all photoshop image.
The only post-pro thing that I love in this image is the grass.

Cheers,

Rizky

Hey, the sun is coming from the left/front. That been said there might be inconsistencies with people and lighting. Some of them could have been darker looking back at it now. As i said in one of the other threads I feel I have yet to see a render with pngs added in sketchup that look more believable. As far as I have seen the people often get overexposed and washed out, lacking contrast. But I will give it a try next time!

I like the render and Photoshop work here. I shall be happy if I am able to produce anything near to this... Incl People :) ... And maybe most clients too won't notice the details which the seasoned pros can .
With the kind of deadlines you may have work with during competitions, getting the point across in terms of design is important.So.. respect for that!

I think the accuracy of people's feet meeting the ground is better using photoshop than say Podium people from browser inside Sketchup.  The problem, I think is, placing 2D people in a 3D environment like SketchUp often ends-up looking like people are floating.
But this is nice work.  I like everything about it.
