Hello

Been playing with 'realism' for these bulbs.
Cannot get the filament to glow like the real thing? Or is this good enough? Attached is the skp file, the bulbs are dual layer with a hidden lem underneath the top layer and the glass layer on top the layers are textured on both sides.

these r free to use if u want.

Hi Mitch, nice to see you back posting [smile]
Haven't seen any of your stuff for a while. The curvature on that cable is about as convincing as your team's ability to hit a swinging ball [biggrin]

Lol, yes thanks, hope I can see others make use of these too... Dave, these are the 'bulbs I was asking about a while back. Hope some one can tweak the filament to look more real... I could not get it to glow orange... while keeping the luminance entirely lem based and not using point lights etc...

Mitchy, did you have to use an hidden LEM in that render or did the bulb do all of that? Or was it natural light?

I havent changed the bulb at all, just made the crappy cable for it [biggrin] The space is lit with omni's.

Have never followed the rugby Jim, but I might have to change codes while the test team rebuilds!
