I love sketchup and have been using it for more than 4 years at an architectural firm doing schematics and porting to VIZ...and recently got into Podium and have been working with it for the past couple weeks and thought that i would share what i have been playing with....first projects interior and exterior...any comments/suggestions welcome...

Multi-Use retail building & a condo hallway entry study....and exterior of the condo project for a PS photo montage...

wow - the render of the storage building is great! Just a light sketchup background and good texturing?

storage?....the larger is a condo development and the smaller is a retail/bank mixed use....interior is the entry hallway to the condo's....

my viz experience helps...but podium blows me away...so easy and fast...is there any way to light the ceiling better in the hallway?

woops - sorry...
Maybe I typed a little too fast. I meant to write multi-story building, but tripped over my tongue along the way

So it was only lit by the "sketchup sun"?

Nice renders Seabass84. I thought that intersection looked familiar. I spent my first 30 years in Ann Arbor. Scott

It is one of the best exterior i've seen in this forum. Nice works.
The perspective in the last one (w/the existing picture) is a bit off. I think that should be easy to fix in PS.

sketchup sun....29 light 15 dark....used for all my outdoor renders...with subtle omnis for dark areas...

yeah...i have played with trying to get the perspective right on that one....the others are spot on...can't get it to look right even tweaking in PS so i have left it alone...

Great renders. What an entry. I just wish you had some sky reflections on the glass.

Not very fond of the architecture but WOW, great renderings!
Some really look like the real thing.

Great job.

You can bake the reflections (see tut section)or have a sky map behind a camera with reflection added to glass. Still very good render.
