This isn't bad at all
In terms of improvement, I would suggest the following: 1. Remove the bump from the cabinets. In reality, you won't see this on a fundamentally smooth surface. 2. Reduce the bump on the tiles. Generally speaking you don't have much bump on glazed tiles. Start with smaller values for bump, and then gradually increase it until you are happy. In most cases, you probably don't need bump at all. Start with values as low as 1 for water. You generally only go to values over 20 for things like brickwork. 3. Download Podium Extras from here. Use the Nudge plugin and move things like the skirting (base) boards up by 1-2mm. Do the same thing for the bath and the table. Also move the vanity unit away from the wall by the same amount. 4. The best images have just enough realistic detail to be convincing. You don't need to go overboard, just do enough to convince people that the construction is realistic. Things like gaps and imperfections are what makes the difference between good renders, and ones which look real. In reality those tile would project beyond the plaster wall, and have some sort of edge trim. You would have some sort of window cill detail, and that blind would probably be sat within the window reveal. You should also move the casements away from the window frames by say 1-2mm. opening casements have tiny gaps. Another way of doing this is to use a line overlay. 5. You have strong bright sunlight in the room, but the lights are on. Generally speaking, you wouldn't do this. 6. What are those weird things on top of the wall cabinets? Whatever they are, they aren't very convincing. Other than these things, it's a decent render, and for a first time render, it's great __________________
