I can't see how this could be done. As far as I understand current render engine does not support SU fog... but the version 2.x ....aaaah.
One way might be to fake it in photoshop. There must be plugin somewhere on the net for PSP an PS just to do that, or alternatively paint it in PS and add as layer with transparency. Now that might be painful.
But hey you are the Texture King, you should know this stuff.

In PS I could even add London, what I really wanted was to render it getting darker into the distance. I have a sample render baking using multiple semi transparent domes...so far it looks fair...I will post as soon as done

Don't touch London...

Are you thinking several domes one in other (babushka) or smaller ones in line with sun?

What about using some cloud textures, making them greyscale, applying them to vertical planes and making them transparent?

Thats a great idea...well let me render this and see how it comes out if not good then I will try your idea. I have used a dirty texture for the domes to give a grundgy look, I am hoping it will work.

Could you pls model one plane for me to download as I have too many instances open right now and dont wanna slow down too much?

I tried to see if there was a problem on my hosting site and tried another two machines and they all showed in the message pane...I believe it must be on your end, unless more folk out there has same problem.

Sketchup model looks better than rendered one. I had to soften fog line in PS hence the blurring around lights.

Okay...

I used Bigstick's idea of cloud planes, but I had to make them png npr style planes and very subtle. I used 9 planes (clouds) and had them "face camera" and I unchecked recieve and cast shadows. I used a SU ground plane. The lights at entrance was a surprising result, I used white LEM for the light glow and yellowish onmi for the scattering (another Bigstick tip)
The grass and driveway textures are not right (the point was to achieve fog and light) and I could not use headlights on car as they destroyed the fog effect by illuminating the contours. I used PSP to soften the light and give a halo effect to tail lights (foggy thing) and...ahem add logo.

All in all it seems to work, not ideal but hey...it can be said that fog is achievable.

Oh..the main fog layer is behind wall so the entrance threshold looks natural if it was in front you would see a fine line.
