I don't know if there exists, but I would love to see an option in the render window for just rendering a selection of the render.

Not on the roadmap, and not many similar requests for it unfortunately...

If you want that, you need to resize the SU window and render the screen display.

I was actually thinking about this the other day to be honest. It would be nice to have, but I guess we can live without it [smile]. Sometimes you make a small change to the model and would like to render just that part of the frame.

For components and groups, you can use Edit in Place and then render.
