Here is simple tutorial on how to import textures to SU.

edit; I must admit I did not do the tut I only converted it to.pdf for the benefit of all.

i just click, drap and drop images into your sketchup workspace the conversion is automatic... it becomes a texture once you explode what u drag in. easy, and i have texture libraries open in the background in windows browser windows this (i feel)takes some of the load off of sketchup...

Yes this is the way if you want it one time only. The tut above is for to have it permanently in library. I think both ways are useful.

gud. u can used plugin call 'massmaterialimporter.rb' too...just go to
http://rhin.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/...type plugin name. and find that name. u got it!...^^

sepo can you do this where the material retains its Podium properties?

No, image files do not contain Podium material data. The only way you can transfer Podium material data is inside an skp file, which is how we are planning to implement the V2 material library.
