Are there any 3d packages that you can purchase for landscaping?  I know everyone at Podium has been making an effort to improve the landscaping, but in the interm it would be nice to have real 3D plants, trees, etc. for rendering.  The warehouse just doesnt have the level of modeled or textured vegitation that im looking for.  I see so many amazing renderings and the only thing that is setting them apart is the landscape materials.

The Browser will.

When will have instancing with V3, 3D trees will be much more interesting! and it ill surely happen.

Jim is working one some at the moment I think, and like everything he does, they are awesome!

BTW, what do you think of the Solo's 3D plans in the browser?

Hmm, I'm flattered, but worried about over-hyping!

No pressure then...

Previews attached, there are more plants than this.

Does anyone know where I can find a nice pack of png plant pics to drop into photoshop or high quality plants that can be somehow brought into supodium browser. The supodium plants are pretty bad.

Yeah, some of the 2d clip maps aren't great. They are variable and we'll weed these out.

Another issue is that there is a little bug in the render engine that magnifies the pale outlines around any transparent pngs that aren't perfect! This is one of the reasons why some images look worse than others.

We have an update for this coming soon, but it won't fix all the plant issues.

Try Evermotion, Xfrog and CADPlants.
