Hi guys

i have one question, why is spot light on volume 1.00 that strong?

There's no good answer to this - that's just the way it is, because it's how the render engine is configured. It hasn't been calibrated. 

Render engines for visualisation aren't like those for lighting simulation.

We could theoretically calibrate the values to approximate watts, or lumens or whatever, but that would be a big change, and existing scenes probably wouldn't render the same as they do now. We would have to implement new, different, calibrated lights.

It's actually a simple question with some very interesting and not so simple implications.

Approx calibration used to be .04 power= 100 watt bulb for omnis. But presets have changed, and spots doe not follow this rule.

LEMs are not 'better' - they work differently. Sometimes you can use an omni, sometimes you can use an LEM, depends.
