Hi Podium members,

I finally was able to get my newsletter together to share with you guys! I came up with the title and I had help from our marketing team with the copy. This is a twice a year publication my company does, Featuring me and my work. Everything you see is rendered with podium. The idea was to make it educational for the other employees at my company so they understand the renderings process and what my capabilities are.  Also It is to show what has been rendered that is in our database that they can use as idea starters. I had to do some "redacting" on the pages to protect company / clients names so there are some black rectangles scattered throughout the pages.

I hope you guys like it. I am super proud of it!

There’s a ton of great images here! Lots of skill and a number of different techniques. I particularly like the translucent glass [smile]

Have you tried using Podium Extras?
The Nudge tool can subtly randomise repeated components, and you can also se it to float components above horizontal surfaces so they create more realistic-looking contact shadows.

Nice portfolio!

good images and concept!

for the renders of the products, what type of scene layout did you use? a curved setup? LEM, etc?

@bigstick, No I haven't but I am intrigued! where can I find that? I normally move things away from the surface but maybe I'm not moving it far enough and its also a pain so if there was a tool for that, That would be amazing.

Side note: Just got the 12.9 Ipad Pro with the sketchup app for viewing models and its incredible. I was sad to see that I couldn't get Viso 3D to work. It looks like its not supported in the new IOS. I was planning on using that for the models but I wasn't able to download it from the iTunes store.

@arqcova Most of the interior shots all have a large LEM on the ceiling. The single items, benching, Workstations,  you see towards the back of the E book were done as exterior renderings. I find they give me quick results for what I need for the job.
