If I understand correctly, the OOPR is in your dock, but you can't bring it up?
When you click on it, it does nothing?

Yes, that's correct. When I click on the Render Scene Button, the OOPR icon appears in my dock. When I click on the icon nothing happens. I can not see any preview window of the rendering in progress.

Does it gets saved?
Could you try to uninstall Podium and install version 2.7 from here please?

Arno - at risk of stating the obvious, have you double clicked on the render name in the PRM window? You need to do this to bring up the preview.

Alternatively, you can highlight a particular item in the list, and click on the 'Show' button.

If this doesn't work, I suspect you have a problem with some of your graphics libraries on your Mac.

I'm confident we can fix it, but we need to diagnose the cause first.

The finished render file does get saved. I uninstalled Podium and installed V2.7. That only works with SU7, I'm using SU8. I tried rendering in SU7 with Podium2.7 and the same thing happens, no rendering preview window, just a saved finished file. Getting back to my trial version of Podium V2, I can't double click on the render name in the PRM window because I can't access the Preview Manager or the License menu items. ?

There are versions of Podium that work with SU7 and SU8.

Try opening OOPR.app from here:-

\Library\Application Support\Google SketchUp 8\SketchUp\plugins\SU_Podium_V2\programs\OOPR.app

Do you have Administrator rights on your machine?

I have just reinstalled "SU Podium V2 Trial Mac for SketchUp 8". I have opened OOPR.app from the Library. I have Administrator rights on my machine.

Hmm, interesting. It might be that you have something on your machine is interfering with Podium. Do you have any other plugins?

What other software do you have installed?

Can you upload a screenshot? It does seem that OOPR.app might be hidden for some reason. Do you have a dock icon for it?

I have a lot of software installed. I have been using IDX Renditioner (installed). I wanted to try Podium before commiting to upgrading a rendering plug in. That's why I'm trying the trial version of Podium V2.8. I can open the OOPR.app from the library and from the render command in Podium. I just don't get a preview window. I've attached screenshots of my desktop with OOPR opened and my SU8 Plugins folder. Any help?

Thanks, that's helpful! What happens when you click on the OOPR icon in the dock?

When I click on the OOPR icon in the dock, OOPR appears in the menu bar. The drop down menu below it includes:
Services
Hide OOPR
Hide Others
Show All
Quit OOPR

What happens when you click on 'Show All'?

I have referred this to our programmer. I'm pretty sure we can fix this. Please bear with us!

I am having the same problem.  My imac at home (2Ghz core duo, 1.5 GB, OS X 10.6.8) cannot run the oopr.  The imac that I use at work (newer & faster, but with the same os), runs without a problem.
