"it says is that the licence has expired"

Well there's your problem. If your licence has expired, we can't really do much more with the trial version. The problem could well be in the files you were trying to render.

The best thing to do if your scene won't render, is to try to render a really basic one, which will test whether the program is working correctly, and most of the time it does.

There are numerous things in your scene that could cause problems. Unsupported or mislabelled textures, particularly textures with no extension on the Mac, certain components (from 3DW in particular) and just scenes which are too complex for your hardware.

I am having the same problem with my OOPR, it will show up on my taskbar as being open but the manager will not maximize, and I had been using Podium successfully for months and this problem seemed to happen after I went through Window updates, it makes it impossible to actually render anything useful because I can't preview the render or see how long it's going to take to render. I'm using Windows 8, with a purchased license so it's not just a Mac free-trial podium problem. Has anyone figured out the solution to this problem?

for those having trouble locating your oopr

Its probably in an not visible screen. Try to bring it back to the main screen:

- Press SHIFT and Right click on the OOPR tile in the windows bar.
- Choose move from the context menu and don't click at anything else.
- Hold down the left arrow until you see a window (I assume the oopr window is on the right and you need to move it left. If you 2nd monitor would be setup to be on left you'll need to move it right)

Would like to thank 'tberry274' with his last post.
Had the exact situation, everything was correct except could not see the oppr window while rendering.
I used his method and behold, there it is!

Might put this one in a sticky note...
regards, Steph

I have the same problem. But it is intermingled with the liscence manager popping up and when I close it, the oopr crashes and I have to restart it.

1. Podium latest version (for SU17)
2. Sketchup 2017
3. When I click the render icon, entities are "prepared", the oopr icon appears in the dock. I have no options in oopr and I cannot see the status box.
4. I get a rendered output.
5. I see the dock icon.
6. If I click the icon then OOPR shows at the top of the screen, but the only options are:
- Services->
- Hide OOPR
- Hide Others
- Quit OOPR
7. I cannot view the Podium Licence Manager dialogue.

Posting multiple times about the same issue isn't helpful to anyone.

Stick to a single post, and edit it to add detail if necessary.

What you haven't mentioned here is the critical issue about Autocad for Mac 2017.

Assuming you are running a mac, there's one thing you can do to test.
Leave SketchUp and go to this folder - Macintosh HD\Library\Application Support\SketchUp 201x\SketchUp\Plugins\SU_Podium_V2.5\programs\  and click on the OOPR.app.  does it run.  You should see OOPR dialog box.  If you don't, the license manager will pop up instead.  If the license manager says expired, that would be the reason why OOPR is not coming up in SketchUp.
