There is some info in the V2 Beta forum about presets.  Yeah.  We need Bigstick or Jure to write a preset primer.

Have a look here and post any questions you have.

I suggest you don't modify the standard presets. Copy the existing ones as templates and save them with new names.

You will need to restart SU if you create new presets while it is running.

(This document will evolve. Not all the parameters are documented right now, but following a request from kfilar, I have posted my first draft.

I would suggest that you only look at it if you really need to. It is better to wait for the final version! -jim)

thanks for the link jim as you said here is the final version i mean is fixed one..

we will wait for those presets dave.. thanks!!!!

Actually there aren't too many more parameters to document, and I don't think there is anything in that guide that is incorrect.

By all means use the document in its current form, and ask questions. The thing about writing guides like that, is not knowing how easy the information is to digest, or how clearly it is presented.

As a new user to Podium, I think more presets for rendering is a great idea. Does anyone know if a preset for Hidden Line rendering is available? I'd love to be able to get sketchup line work into a rendering without having to go through a lengthy post production process. I know VRay has something similar to this and I think it would be a great preset to have in the program in general.

What you are asking for seems to be like clay render mode with line overlay.

We can kind of do this at the moment automatically however the triangulation is done by the render engine, not by SU. So - the line overlay is very different to what you see in the SU window.
