Hi all!

I recently switched from a Mac to a Windows system and re-installed SketchUp Pro 2018 and Podium. I have a license for 2.5+ and the browser.

The problem is when I restart my computer the license box is blank in Podium Browser. My license code works when I insert it in the box, but the problem returns why I shut down or restart my computer.
Is there any way to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Christ

sorry for the late reply.
On the Mac Podium Browser license is saved here:

In the PrivatePreferences.json and SharedPreferences.json are saved to /Users//Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2018/SketchUp. Note the // between Users and Library, that's for your user name.

The license is saved here with all your SU preferences.

It's possible that for some reason the PB license is not getting saved.

You might emove these two files, and try again.  Note - if you remove these files, you lose all your SketchUp preferences like templates, so you will have to choose these again.

On the Mac you may not be able to open this Library/ Application folder unless you can see hidden folders. To quickly turn on/off hidden folders: Hold down Cmd + Shift + . (dot)Here is the link to the web page explaining it in detail: Read here.

You might also check the web version and see if that saves your serial number:

This will work with any browser.

I think on Windows, this is related to the Internet Explorer cache, and it not saving your Podium information. The Browser uses a web dialog, which uses settings from the default system Browser.

Unfortunately my knowledge of Podium on Windows is not as detailed as on the Mac, so the only suggestion I can make is to try flushing the Internet Explorer cache.

The license file is stored on the hard drive in a Win registry if you are using Sketchup 2017 or earlier.  If you are using Sketchup 2018, the Podium Browser license is store in the preference.json file.

C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2018\SketchUp\PrivatePreferences.json\

It's possible that removing Internet Explorer's cache might help.

But you might try deleting PrivatePreference.json file and start again.
