There are only a couple of buxus shrubs in the podium trees and plants library.....so I made some myself. There is also a good grass texture in the shrubs model - originally from this forum but I darkened and desaturated it.

I have also made a 3D hedge.

I will be updating the thread so please keep an eye on it!

2D "buxus microphylla" or "boxwood"

Nice work Oli! Poly count for the hedge is rather high though IMO. Some serious arc smoothing going on there

Thanks a lot for sharing!

Yeah sorry about that it was my first attempt.  My next ones will be very low poly. texturing would be easier too I assume.

Might try that component bender on them too!

Why not using five png variations, one after the other, in place of this rather heavy mesh?

Well it doesn't matter if you make it a component!  or use layers its no problem!

Next lot will be very low poly so watch out!! I think the round corners made this one rather large.

Radial bending looks great by the way....quick render in V2....

I HAVE ADDED LOW POLY HEDGE TO ABOVE POST! ENJOY!

Nice one! Personally I would raise the geometry above the ground but leave the origin where it is. The leaves on hedging never touch the ground.
Have a look here if you don't believe me

I believe you jim, ... in most cases . (BTW I'm still unable to edit other v2 presets except the default. Please don't answer this here.)

Here's my try for bushes. Have fun. You can explode the group, edit it etc. Even use it with make_fur plugin.
Its compatible with podium v1x or v2.
