1. Any restrictions on the view? I presume we can take our shot/place the camera anywhere in the space?

2. Is it okay to do minor clean up to the geometry of the model such that there is *no visible/substantial/practical difference* to the interior? eg. organize things by layer, join the exterior walls properly (it's bugging me that they meet at a corner), reduce height of ext walls to ceiling height etc. I can attach my cleaned up version for your approval.

3. can we divide an existing plane into parts using new lines?

changes allowed only if no visible/substantial/practical difference to the interior

3. can we divide an existing plane into parts using new lines?

Hello boys.

my questions are: can 3 elements be modified, (the bucket, the post and the table) do to them extrusions, thefts etc.? Also do I want to know if the ambience of the image must be a nocturne, or it can be day? ..... is not it possible to insert any other element or component to the scene? ..... can they be modified or change the materials?

thank you

ftellez: you can pick any time of the day for the render
for the other questions please read the rules carefully - already discussed about them

Hi, Could you please repost the model?

The download seems to hang at 19% and then I get a 152kb file that will not open in Sketchup.

Thanks

Thanks for answeing my questions! The reason I ask if we can divide planes using lines, is just in case I might want to make a colored stripe or mirror on the wall/ceiling/floor etc. Or do the existing surfaces have to be all one color/texture?

mirror added on the first post

I might want to make a colored stripe or mirror on the wall/ceiling/floor

you can add a colored stripe/mirror as long you dont change the geometry
(for example push pulling is not allowed)

Or do the existing surfaces have to be all one color/texture?

material/textures are allowed to be changed

Hi

In the render contest, are we allowed to rotate the furniture?

Thanks

TBD,

I was thinking maybe it is good to have 5-10 honable mentions. Just my 2 cents.

Does the theme "Shop" mean the model needs to be a retail environment? Can we interpret that any way we choose?

shop = "a building or room stocked with merchandise for sale" (webster)
(of course there will be no merchandise except it is box or lamp shop  as that you must use the furniture components supplied in the model)
