I'm working on this exterior rendering, and the 3D tree is rendering incompletely at the default setting.  What do you suggest?

I'm also curious...many of the trees in the Podium Browser are labeled: suggested preset: default. Does this mean I can't render them at a higher preset?  Will that also effect this tree in my rendering.

I'm still a novice at exteriors.  I'm going to add 2 1/2 D Grass to this image also, but would be very thankful for other suggestions also.

Okay...just tried to render some 2 1/2 D Grass and got the same odd results of some just partially rendering (appearing white)

Try with the vegetation preset or exterior QMC that helped with the black or white areas on the grass!

I also found that sometimes the tree got downloaded incompletely from the browser sometimes, try downloading later or using a similar

the only way I can prevent this is to use the exterior vegetation preset. i know it takes forever to process but i leave the aa setting for any 3D plant material, i.e.. blades of grass, leaves and flowers at the default setting. Makes a difference.
just about all of my work is exterior and/or landscape related.
