Any comments or notes on any of these new (or original) renders...ignoring the time topic?

They are pretty good, but if you want to make some tests and improvements, you have good detailing and texturing

IMHO

  • use round corner plugin for all the noticeable sharp edges on the model (it would improve a lot the overall feeling)
  • lower the bump on the ceiling beams and the reflection (also use round corner on that elements)
  • also, move all furniture and items on surfaces about 2 mm to create the contact shadows that helps a lot (also randomize rotation) use nudge plugin from podium (great!)
  • loved the blade runner (excited about the Villeneuve blade runner 2049  [smile]) not a tip just a comment ha!
  • I would eliminate the 3 pictures on the bottom of the screen (they take out the attention) and randomize more the pictures on that wall or lower the count
  • very strong lights on the right on that last image (damn fine coffee) lower them?

I definitely need to use more round corner especially on elements like concrete columns and wood etc... I use it very sparingly but I want to see my product quicker -because I get excited before adding such fine details [wink]
I did it on the LaMarzocco logo (coffee machine- chromo logo) and it helped so much comparatively. It's a must do for any/all chrome objects.
I do lift things 1mm and that's a solid overall tip. I'll try 2.

The pics are there because that screen rolls up when not in use and there are actually pictures behind the screen as well. I'll test the look removing the lower pics.
Those lights are super lowered already. I struggled to get these lights as low as they are without looking completely off...
The light the the left of the damn fine coffee text is a chrome tipped bulb -recreated in skp. I may have over exposed it brightening the overall picture as well. you are right and I've been chasing that dragon.
That chrome tipped bulb is currently at a .20 value. The lights above it are also .2. painful.
Thanks and noted!

They are point lights so I don't think there is an option for high intensity... is there?

I am excited about the new blade runner movie!
