Not in this release, but very soon there will be a major speed improvement in exporting from SU to OOPR.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had SU 2015 bug splat when rendering? Mine seems to crash every time during ray tracing, though it finishes out the render... Not sure if this user error or something with 2015?? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

I have had the same on a fairly large render, and informed the guys the other day.

They are looking into it and trying to run Podium 2015 on SU 2014 to see if the same happens. It does however seem to be a problem with Podium V2 2015 as renders without issues in 2014.

I also found this first release of Podium V2 for SU2015 still unstable for large scene, and stop when it found "unknown symbol" but we cannot trace which component/group that contain incompatible character.

vizgraphics, try to simplify your scene by delete any geometry that not seen on camera, then purge it (windows - model info - statistics), save as your SU model, then re-render. It usually works for me.

The unknown symbol error happens with some old presets, and some issues in particular files. We know for example that some imported AutoCAD geometry causes it. You can fix this (mostly) by using the plugin CleanEdge. We fixed the presets a long time ago.

Also try running Podium Tools, you might get some information on what else might be causing the problem.

SU Podium V2.18.972 for Windows has been released.  It solves the Windows specific problem with  processing scene and large models.
If you were experiencing problems with models larger than 470,000 faces, please update to this version.  In fact, overall this is version is much more stable so it's highly recommended that you update to this version if you are using Windows.
The omni light color problem on the Mac also has been fixed and you should update to V2.18.971 for the Mac.
