SU Podium V2.5.601 for SU 2017 has been released.  Thanks for your patience.
http://www.suplugins.com/podium/podium-downloads.php or the Free Trial page.

If you did accidentally install an earlier version of Podium  for SU 2017, it will not work and you will need to remove the earlier version of SU Podium before installing V2.5.601 (V2.6.601)
We don't have an automatic uninstaller for Podium on SU 2017 so you will need tor remove manually.

To remove:

Windows  -C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\SketchUp\Plugins\ remove SU Podium folder and .rbs file.

Mac - MacIntosh\Library\Application Support\ SketchUp 2017\ SketchUp\ plugins\

Hello davew,

I currently have Sketchup Pro 2016 and SU Podium v2.5 Plus.

I would like to upgrade to Sketchup Pro 2017. How do I do this as seamlessly as possible without interrupting SU Podium?

Cheers,
Jarred

You can install SU Pro 2017 and SUPodium, and leave your existing SU 2016 and Podium in place until you are sure that everything is working fine.

You can uninstall the old versions when everything is working as it ought, but you shouldn't have any difficulties.

You do need to install the SU 2017 version of SU Podium V2.5.   You can use the same license code that you have but you need to install the SU 2017 version.

Since I use SketchUp Pro 2017 I'm having problems with rendering with SU Podium. When I toggle shadows on, my computer crashes. Never had that problem with the version 2016.

This is not a Podium problem.

There is something with your system configuration that is causing this. Either your drivers, or your SketchUp installation of a conflict with another plugin.

The best way to test this is to create a new user profile, install SU and Podium on this profile with nothing else. If it works, there is something in your user profile causing the issue.
If it doesn't, there's either a conflict with a system driver or some other piece of software installed for all users.

It's a conflict with software or another plugin or a driver.

Very hard to diagnose!
