Hi
Just started to use the textures, with a few probs
On a house I used stucco on the walls, in the su model it shows up as brown vertical lines then after a render some walls look like stucco and some are still the brown lines
Any ideas?

Everything is working correctly now with the new build (2.4).  I'm not sure as to Edisons find, i have not used all the materials.  But at least the thing is showing up now!  I also have not experienced the lighting issues with the new build as well!  GREAT JOB GUYS!!

Do you have to rotate the texture every time?

Projected?

I dragged the texture in exploded it and then started painting
Then rotated it and it worked on the front face, surely you don't have to do that every time(rotate)

Right click on your surface with the distorted texture - texture - on-check projected. (If it is)

If not, your solid must be components, explode and re-group them. - Its a current bug we have with component that where working on.

Bigstick... A BIG hi !!

This is Macho, seeing you after a long time friend! Hope to be frequenting the Podium corridors again.

I have a problem though. There seems to be a bug with podium V2.

I only just purchased V2 2.11.130 with paid content - podium browser (I hope this is the latest version).

When I try to assign an image texture material from the conventional material libraries of sketchup (or downloaded from 3D warehouse), and if the material is not already a part of the scene (i.e. it is not In Model), sketchup bugsplats.

When however, I remove SU_Podium_V2.rbs from the plugins folder, sketchup works just fine and I can assign any material from the material libraries that sketchup/ 3d warehouse provide, without the bugsplat.

Now the problem is that I have many material libraries pre-existing on my system and though Podium browser is a great treasure trove of everything sketchup, I cannot do without my materials and the 3d warehouse and use only the content provided by the Podium browser V2.

Has this bug been reported earlier by anybody else, as this is veritably a huge turn off and needs correction.

I am on Windows 7 Pro x64, Intel Core2Quad extreme 3Ghz, 8GB Ram, nVidia GeForce 660Ti.

By the way, everything was working fine till before I installed Podium V2.

Looking for a revert from your side at the earliest, friend.

Thanks.

Best,

Ar. Nitin Sharma
