The lighting is lovely!

Personally I would add some cushions and possibly some bump on the carpet. The image there looks a little blurry actually, but sometimes with cut pile carpets that's how they look in real life.

Maybe correct the verticals or re-render in 2 point perspective?

Excellent work [thumb]

Actually there is quite some bump on this carpet(30) but I guess the image is lousy. I kinda like the fuzzyness, but the way too straight edges I do not like. So I tried a different rug. added cushion, and did a first attempt at introducing 3d people. Not to great satisfaction though. Any tips to get this more "in place" would be appreciated.

The verticals were off, but on purpose, the first posted image is "photomatched" to an existing photo, (before and after) and thus copies camera-angle and field of view. (i keep telling these guys to shoot straight ahead and keep verticals vertical)

That's better! Apart from the 3D person. They often work just fine from a distance, but up close it's much harder.

This isn't bad, but the detail on the texture isn't as sharp as the rest of the image. Better without him, or put him in the background.
