Since I got so much from this community, this is a way of saying thank you all - a few planks textures that I made. All are seamless, different sizes, dependent on surface to be used on.

Don't mind at all. Original texture is from CG, but I had to make a lot of modifications - cutting out each board, resizing and rearanging.

I have some interesting textures here and some free sample textures here on my blog. I use them mostly in Blender and in Second Life virtual world - but the quality is pretty good for SU users too

Thanks for sharing, these are really useful! next time you take photos, what is even more useful is branches of leaves, because when you create trees, if you add individual faces for leaves, you end up wight a really high polygon count, or trees without too many leaves [smile]

Thanks, I will try, scanning whole branch with leaves is not the solution. But maybe composing such branches with leaves in photoshop/gimp etc. would be fine :-) ... and maybe just great camera and greenscreen,bluescreen work .. :-)
