Good work guys . My part was only in moaning

Maybe we need to link all the good tutorials into one tread and pin it, similar to other pinned treads. It would certainly help to have them in one place.  I am thinking Podium Tutorials only.
Search on the forum and main site. Post the links with brief info.
Anyone interested to help or comments.

For sure. One stop shopping for tuts.... great idea. I dont know about you all but I never can think of all the keywords that could possibly bring up results. Misspellings etc. We are supposed to be getting Podium here but everyone who writes the checks are gone on vacation for two weeks. I guess I have to wait till then to mess around with it some more. =(

Downloaded the model en printed the tutorial yesterday. Don't really need them, since I only use Podium to produce clay renderings. Nevertheless: a fine tutorial indeed. Nice work.

I second Sepo's proposal.

Now, where's that new beta? All this waiting is bad for me -it makes me want to start smoking again.

Stinkie, I gather you will create  good tread. It will certainly help your cravings. By the time you create the tread with links plus brief info it will be all out

Me, create a thread? No, no. Some people have jobs, you know. No time! I have to come up with convincing slogans and such to lure you poor sods into buying stuff you don't want, let alone need.

When you say you  "some people have jobs".  Do you think I am on income support. I have a busy practice to run and everything I do for Podium is for free. Also I  paid for my licence.

I believe we have nice community and to stay nice community we need to all chip in. There you are.

Could someone contact me or Nomer with a good news please

Hi, I'm new with Podium. Can any one help me with parameters to get a wide gradient reflex for irregular faces, like gold texture? I'm posting two renders to compare (the golden crown), one made with Indigo and one with Podium.Don't laugh. Seems kinky ... is for Valentines day.

Looks to me like you need to use blurred reflection, with its particular preset.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before. I have searched many water mods, however i am going for a different look here.

I'd like a bit of help with creating a few puddles, or a small collection of water. This will fall on a street pavement against it's buildings, and provide a bit of reflection up the side of the building when viewed from a distance. However this is planned to be a night-shot, so the water should look very dark.

That's my aim anyway. So i would just like a few tips (perhaps some test models for reference) on creating geometry, shading and reflection settings so that i could create a realistic small body of water(s)

Thanks!
