hello, Im trying to work out how to turn my lights on/off without having to go to each light point individually. As I am fairly new to all of this any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, there are a couple ways...

1. Extensions -> SU Podium V2.5 -> Tools -> Toggle Point Lights

2. Extensions -> Podium Extras - Light Fixture Outliner

The second option is just an outliner that only shows components containing Podium lights.  So you still have to toggle them individually, but they are much easier to select this way.

I tried the first option but i dont seem to have the extension. How do i get this?

When I get home I will have a bit more of a play around but as I am working on both a windows (at school) and a MAC at home i find that sometimes i cannot locate the same settings on my i-MAC.

I've also attached one of my scenes fully rendered using the fine AA preset. Would appreciate your thoughts on how I could improve it. I'm thinking there is too much reflection on the kitchen walls from the front door at the front of the cafe. I may need to fix this.

Also there is way too much light near my sink and dividing wall and I'm not too sure where this is coming from or how to fix it. I also want to improve the edges of some lines....mainly on my ceiling (above this lit up area) where the brick meets the painted ceiling near the highlight window. It looks Photoshoped and not very realistic so wondering how to fix this.

Thanks very much 😉

What version number are you using? (Extensions -> SU Podium V2.5 -> About)

Podium Extras was added to the main installation a couple months ago, but if you haven't updated recently you might not have it yet.

But you can download and install it manually from this page if you don't have it.  Just a simple SketchUp .rbz installation: http://suplugins.com/podium/pdm-tools/podium-extras.php

It's definitely worth having for the Light fixture outliner, and Nudge plugin.
