Hello everyone,

I decided to render one of my school projects for my portfolio and i'm very pleased on how they turned out.

Any tips on how to improve them even more are welcomed.

Thanks 😉

These are really good!

I think you've gone overboard on the FX in the second image -- that one almost feels dream-like with the halo flare, and bloomy lights, and pure sky outside the window.

In contrast, I think the flares look very natural in the second image.  I wear glasses, so that's very close to what it looks like if I look directly at that kind of light source.  I would still maybe tune them down alittle, simply because the use of lens flares can be kind of a divisive topic in visualization.  I think it's the long horizontal part of the flare that's bugging me.

I don't think the views out the windows are right -- you almost never see pure sky especially with windows that large.  In a Toronto loft I think you'd expect some indication of the city beyond.  Not that it detracts significantly, these are great.  And an unconvincing background would probably be worse than no background at all, so I can understand if that was your reasoning.

Seems the mirror in the bathroom doesn't have any reflection
