Great job! Not fully photorealistic - but none the worse for it. Lovely image!

really nice render! i really like the reflection in the glass and off the water. my only criticism would be the silhouetted people, i think the image is just great without them Also, what method did you use for the grass!? looks "thick"

Lovely indeed! You should scale up the water texture, kind of look like ice right now...

Thanks, guys. Sketchlar: the grass is from a tutorial found on : http://www.suplugins.com/help/grass-tutorial.php Nick00: I'll could try to scale it up at bit. But the 'ice' effect can also been caused by the bumpmap i've used. (still looking for the best bumpmap.)

You don't and can't use separate bump maps. This is derived from the actual texture itself. You just need to set the bump value lower.

I'm aware of that I can't use separate bumpmaps. That's why I set the material properties for the water to 5-25-75 (D-T-R) and the bump to about 35. In this way I can use my texture map more as a bump map. I've tested some texture maps with alternating results. The texture map used in the render: I listened to Nick00 commentary and adapted the texture, I made it negative and seamless. now it looks more like water. (...?) I tried some other texture but with poor results: and so this one: and there's a lot more water tests I made, but I think I'll stick to the second texture for my water. texture.

Well in the past I find that using our material from the browser worked pretty well. You'll need to scale it up for this scene I guess.
