Just tried 5.0.
The preview window image looks great.
Light, bright, airy, crisp, really, really nice!

I would show you, but I can't find the image.

I used .46 interior default preset.
Model location selected first try, then told it to put it in a custom location.
It is not in either place.

I have used each of the preceding builds and never had this issue.
Yes, I did uninstall previous version prior to installing 5.0

I was not kidding about this test run looking great. I did not have to use any lights
other than the windows and the image looks very well lit. I can't wait to play some more!

Please help me find my image.

Windows 7 64bit

Thanks
paul

I usually copy the folder address right from Windows Explorer so I don't key in the address incorrectly.  May take a couple of tries.  If Podium can not find the folder you specify it is supposed to save the image in the folder where the model is.
If it's not in your model folder, there may be a write permission issue with that particular folder.  Can you do a Windows Explorer search of your computer?

dave,

since you mention this I have the same kind of problem. no path is accepted by V2 mac. so far I can only send my renders to the folder where the skp is.

when I try to copy the path to the folder I would like the renders to go I am faced with several choices (see image posted). which one will work? so far no luck.

I do it the same way, copy and paste destination that is.

It is correct, and the image did not go to the model file location by default.

Ya know, now that I am thinking about it, I was never prompted for my serial # when I did the install. Strange.

I think I should try uninstalling and re-installing.

I was aware of the write protection issue that came up on previous builds and insured proper permission was in place.

I am re-intalling.

Thanks Dave

@edson
If you like v2 to save renderings in same directory as v1, then just write
/Users/NameOfMacUser/Documents/Podium
Unix is a case sensitive system. So, Users not users etc.

thanks, michalis.

in fact, I did not  want to save the renders where v1 put them, but your explanation helped me find out how to direct them to other folders.
