Hmm, looks like a sampling problem to me caused by settings in the presets. This has been only the second time I have seen these posted here. Of course I have seen them while tuning the presets, but they are modified to avoid this sort of thing.

Exactly which preset did you use?
The next build implements preset labelling.

i tried another render the other day, and still the same thing. i think it just doesnt like sharp corners of rooms. Because i added a piece of coving where the problem was and that sorted it lol

Try to subdivide the wall and floor, It may help. Increase settings (gathering). Change the camera a bit. Restart podium. A biased method is a guessing method, some kind of rnd command. Randomize timer is a well known command in "basic". From the 80s. "commodor", "amstrad" lol. But also basic in excel...

I've got the same problem, can someone help get rid of the holes and the subsequent mice?

0.46 interior default

...since the bump-mapping turned out wrong (seams bumped out) I tried Oli's trick with the reversed faces of the floor tiles ... et voilà, mouse holes!

I guess I'm stuck here, wrong bump-mapping or holes in the walls?!

Any chance the external bump maps will be implemented again?
