I have been using ProWalkerGPU for a few months now and love it. Currently I'm running two systems: one with (1) 1080Ti and the second system has (2) 1080Ti's. I'm planning on retiring a mining system in the near future that will free up and additional (6) 1070Ti's. The two systems are adequate for my workflow so I don't think a third system would be much help. Any easy way to leverage extra performance with the additional cards or am I better off selling them and purchasing something more powerful?

Good question.
I wanted to point out one thing - the latest ProWalker is 1.1.7.  It solves the horrible long termination (quit) problem.

I would wait for Iray to support RTX cores.  You can get an 2080 ti RTX which is about $1,500 on Amazon but I do not know if ProWalker (with Iray) will much faster.  It will be faster when Iray supports the new RTX cores (at least that is what Nvidia is telling us)

BTW - I have a question.  What system support 6 GPUs.  Are you using a Xeon Dual Core system?

Nice! I'm still on 1.1.5. I will update soon.

I'm thinking it might be near the time the successor to the RTX 2080Ti is out by the time they get support for utilizing the new RTX cores for gaming or Iray worked out.

The 6 GPU system is a mining rig. Mining doesn't require the all of the PCI Express lanes you would normally need for gaming/rendering so a cheap CPU can be used with a motherboard with extra PCI X1 slots designed for mining. Here is the motherboard for the mining rig:
