Another school project.
This time we had to transform a pretty large space into a kitchen.
With just two materials!

Not my best renderings but wanted to share anyway.

Let me know what you think [smile]

Cheers.

Nice work, Gijs[thumb] Maybe, you should add some bump to the wood texture and some translucency to the ivy?

Actually I think these are wonderful! The quality of light is stunning, and its a fabulous example of what Podium can do. These are going straight in the gallery [thumb]

Ivy leaves are completely opaque, and this timber is laminated, smooth, lacquered bamboo, so I think the material settings are accurate. The use of this material in this context is unusual and beautiful.

I'm not quite sure how the corners would be built on site, but in effect, invisibly fixed bamboo panelling is used on the floor, walls & ceiling. Also, you would need a planting bed under the ivy. A pebble covered bed with white pebbles to match the chairs would work really well, but these things don't render well in Podium unless pebbles are modelled, which would take a long time to render!

Beautiful!

Thanks guys!

I actually did put a planting bed in the floor Jim, I didn't want it to be too visible. I guess it may have worked out too well haha [smile]

EDIT.

I believe I misunderstood the term 'planting bed'. Which is indeed missing.

Thanks Nat!

Just finished my presentation. The jury loved it! They even called in some other teachers to come have a look at the renders. [smile]
