hi guys~! i am still working on my render, one quick question " i had a black engineered stone for the shopfront when i tried to render with a 20% or reflection, why it turn gray? image one is no reflection, image two is same theme but render with reflection but turned into gray, the third one is i used a different interior and see if maybe it me did something wrong or same....and the result....(i did check the face of the model, it all normal.....)

And also why is all the texture is gone???? please help....

I can't comment on the third image, but it seems to me that the second image is normal. If you apply reflectivity to a surface, it will reflect the ambient light in a room, and make the surface look different.

You wouldn't expect 2 otherwise identical surfaces, one reflective, one not, to look the same, and this is proof of that.

Thanks for reply bigstick....the first two image are exterior wall, the shopfront, i didn't expect to have a different surface...i was hoping to get the glassy look on that stone...maybe i didn't set it properly? how do you show a glassy look wall on a exterior wall? thank you very much...

Just try turning up reflectivity and experiment. The good thing about Podium is that it is really simple. There aren't many things to adjust!

Albert, a think the gray tone is LEM reflection, do you have one in front of the stone wall? if is truth try change the view
