in need of a tablet but seeing what i can do with my mouse and sktech up then photoshop

Beautiful. 
What about a bamboo wide wacom tablet? My favorite. Not expensive.

Kev the tread is not strictly Podium...actually nothing  to do with Podium so I will move it  to Lounge.

lol old school render

i recommend wacom bamboo too, really weird using them at first I still can't get used to it.

ok cheers sepo , the top image was a render in podium though? and ye in need of a tablet at some point.:-)

Tablet is useless in SU. Not really important for photoshop.  But great in blender, zbrush, corelpainter, adobe illustrator etc. To tell the truth these apps are useless without a tablet. And don't forget, the larger is the display, the larger should be the tablet.

yeah man I find it quicker using just a mouse in photoshop. its too fussy with a graphics tablet unless you are brushing organic shapes etc. you tried using polygonal lasso tool with a tablet? nightmare. 

michalis I had another play with blender last night, its so confusing!! i need to learn the magic!

Yeah, SU GUI is completely different than blender's, SU is much easier for architectural design, blender for organic sculpture and UVs. Box modeling, UV unwrap, multi UV projections, sculpturing (you need the tablet there) is all you have to learn in blender. The rest in SU.
