Here we will post presets with explanation.
I suggest you create folder say on your desktop and put all presets in there. Copy your default preset which came with install and keep that name. When you want to use say interior preset just copy it from that folder into SU-PLUGINS=Podium2-Presets folder. Than delete existing default and rename new one as default. Fire your Sketchup and you are ready to render with new preset.

I don't know, some people whine for months about V2, disappear from the forum, reappear when it arrives, they get more presets for better rendering and say they are going to render "in a day or two"
You planning to render on Christmas eve then? You'll be popular

Kids don't look after themselves.
Tried those presets - interiors still look too dark. Render times are really good, though!

@Oli: Jim's is almost twice as fast, but Sid's has better 'contact shadows' ... both have their advantages and disadvantages ... let's wait and see what these guys come up with next

Any chance to get a black and white preset or to be able to save an alpha pass for pp. I tried rendering the same scene at the same resolution in 1.7whatever using the black and white preset and then V2 however it didn't line up exactly. Definitely would be a time saver over hand cutting in PS.

here is the way to do it Alpro.
You can automate alpha mask for sky image like with B&W preset in 1.7.3. Podium 2 will save 2 images ..your render and your alpha mask. Add this scriptline in preset after:
limit dir 1
needbuffers 0+0x1+0x2; Here is example edited in default with simple file and renders autosaved. Do not look at the render time as this was rendered on netbook, single atom processor.

Podium presets end in .pps. It is just a plain text file. It should open just fine with any text editor. If you are using Notepad, start Notepad first and then open the file. You can't open it by double-clicking.
