The 'transparant background' option is rather fantastic. However, it only works with png output -which I'm sure is due to some technical reason I don't understand. Thing is, the png's Podium saves out are 8 bit - which doesn't leave that much room for lighting and colour correction. Long story short: I'd like to be able to save my renders as 16 bit pngs. Is that techically possible/hard to implement/something that might happen one day?

Hmm, seems reasonable enough, I'll check.

I've asked the Kray programmer. If it's possible and easy enough, there is no reason why not. Can't give you an estimate about time, but I'll see what he says and update you.
