Great modeling!!  Everything looks very good to me, except all the images seem a little dark.  I guess how dark or light is a very subjective view.  I add a little light using Light Level from podium image editor as an example. 2019 sept 2 storey interior argona ground floor 05 mark-lighter.jpg

The thing I really like about these images (apart from the flawless texturing and fantastic detail) is the lighting and the overall atmosphere. The lighting looks so natural - it's fantastic.

The stairs are not great though. You need more edge rounding on the treads, and the balusters are too far apart. Most countries have laws to stop small children falling through them, so they tend to be 100mm apart.

Also, when you have too few of them, they aren't enough to support the handrail properly.

For improvement, I would use the randomise function of the Podium Tools Nudge plugin (right click components, then choose Nudge Settings) on the chairs, lights, glasses etc. ANything that looks like it might be set out precisely, which is not how real houses are.

For example when Ikea produce all their renders for the catalogues (yes they are not real, they are rendered in Max and Vray) they built plugins to introduce irregularity, for example with stacked plates. Their visualisation people know that simulating reality requires simulating the imperfect [wink]

We built the Nudge plugin specifically for this. It works nicely for plants, furniture, all sort of things!

Finally, much as I like the natural look of these images, the camera position is not what you would expect for promotional images. It looks like someone has taken a photograph in these spaces.

In every single scene, the bottom edges of some furniture has been 'chopped off'. A little more care with composition would be a big improvement I think.

Stunning modelling and rendering though [thumb]
