I have downloaded the open beta version today and installed it. even though the site says it will only expire on September 15 I get a message saying the copy I have is expired.

could it be that there is some file that keeps an old date and is preventing me from using the new one?

Edson, I thought we fixed this last week.  I just tested it again and it seems to be working fine and not expiring.
When did you download?  Can you check the clock on your system?
Are you using the Trial or the Full Beta?

Just in case, can you trash these two files - SU_Podium_V2.rbs and the SU_Podium_V2 folder.
The are located in Macintosh HD (your global directory)/Library/Application Support/ Google SketchUp 7/ SketchUp/ Plugins/

Then download from http:/www.su-podium.com/v2beta/ and reinstall.

dave,

prior to installing I deleted the files you indicated.

I installed the trial version, which is to one that can be downloaded from the link above.

edit: I found in my HD the installer (that is, the full beta) that I had downloaded days ago from the link you sent me by email. it worked. but it seems that one can only download the trial beta from http:/www.su-podium.com/v2beta/.
