Hey guys,

I've been having issues toggling point lights as they are always on when rendering even tho it says they are off.. I have recently updated to SketchUP 2020 and it still happens... Any idea why?

Here's a couple images..

Thanks a Lot!  Screen Shot 2020-05-21 at 11.42.56 AM.png  Screen Shot 2020-05-21 at 11.45.53 AM.png

Wow, ok yeah I can replicate this on Windows too.  Very weird bug, because after I use the toggle, if I select the light it says the light power is zero. But still renders as if it's turned on.

All three turned on

Toggle off - Analyze says lights are off and PLS says light power zero

Lights still render as if they're turned on

Yeah definitely a bug, I have reported it but I'm not sure when it will be addressed.

For now I'd say the best way to turn lights on or off is with the light fixture outliner (Extensions > SU Podium V2.6 > Tools > Light fixture outliner).  If you right click a light source in LFO there is a hide/show option.  Just tested, and this does work as expected.

If your point light is within a component it's also pretty quick to edit, since the changes will automatically propagate to all instances of the component.  For example, if there are six instances of a recessed light from Podium Browser, just drill down into the component, select the omni light, and set the light power to zero.  Then all six lights should be turned off.

I think this is a bug new to V2.6.  There's a few that we have knocked out yet.
